Establishes and maintains network performance utilizing technical experience to analyze and troubleshoot engineering lab network/compute problems.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining Lab IT infrastructure
  • Monitoring and maintenance of Lab -Local area network
  • Managing network ports and Switch capacity
  • Installation and Configuration of Wireless Switches
  • Troubleshooting of Firewall and VPN access
  • Coordinating testing among sub teams (who tests what and when)
  • Network Monitoring and Performance fine tuning
  • Procurement Support & Manage Hardware failures
  • Experience in Windows and Linux administration
  • Manage compliance audits and ensure the lab IT infrastructure
  • Be the Lab point of contact
  • Asset & Inventory Management, Provide inputs for capital asset budgeting
  • Interacts with cross functional IT team in a collaborative nature and works with cross-functional linked teams on projectsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience
    • Experience with IT Network support and administration for Windows and Linux environment.
    • Experience with Service-Now for report generation, inventory management and ticketing.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of CISCO Switches and Routers is highly desirable.
      • Exposure to Cisco and FortiGate VPN systems and Palo Alto/ Cisco Firewalls.
      • Experience with SolarWinds and Zabbix Network monitoring systems.Key Skills and Competencies:

        • Demonstrated technical experience
        • Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively on projects
        • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting
        • Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications

        • Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures
        • Advanced analytical skills
        • Demonstrated Project Management skills
        • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
