JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using standards of care and policy and procedure. This individual will provide direct nursing care to patients, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities. The candidate should be able to locate and document medical and nursing patient care information, deliver patient care and treatment using problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and maintain clinical skills specifically required on the unit. On-call availability will be required. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
• One year of recent OR experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
