Account Manager

Job Description:
Each day is a little different here and determined by our
clients? needs, but your ongoing responsibilities may include:
- Phone and email communication with clients (phone surveys,
responding to questions and general inquiries, etc.), be known as
the internal resource for accounts for specific tasks
- Promotional products sourcing
- Periodic meetings with vendors to review product lines
- Annual attendance at industry tradeshow
- Manage vendor resources and request basic quotes and order
samples
- Manage custom merchandise orders including but not limited to
vendor negotiation and management, creating POs, art proof and
samples review, invoices, tracking shipping, ongoing communication
with client
- Tradeshow booth coordination, coordinate shipping of materials
and collateral, work with vendors to get quotes
- Occasional attendance at client events where we set up stores
- Follow up with clients around time of annual events that they
have purchased promos for previously and proactively send ideas for
products they may like now or in the future
- Pulling reports for multiple accounts, analyzing, summarizing and
presenting to Account Team
- Internal office support for external Account Managers, help with
some admin tasks like printing, organizing, QCing custom orders,
other misc account related tasks as necessary
- Respond to inquiries that come into general account email
boxes
- Manage self promo tools and assist with mailings, online
promotions, etc.
- Website data entry
- Proofread documents
- Understand goals and objectives of each account supported and
help make suggestions for how to reach those goals
- Whatever else the day may bring
Required:
- Minimum 2 years in promotional products industry, preferably with
a distributor
- Strong verbal communication skills to be able to talk to clients
on the phone
- Strong written communication skills to send professional email
correspondence to clients and vendors, summarize project outcomes,
help write customer surveys, and other misc projects requiring
writing
- High energy and positive attitude
- Highly customer focused
- Extremely organized and able to manage multiple unrelated
tasks/projects at any given time
- Ability to work with and present to our team, but also able to
work independently
- Go getter who understands our business goals and helps to think
of ways to meet them
- Someone who can analyze and respond, not just take orders, while
knowing when to ask questions
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), specifically
able to develop Excel spreadsheets with ease
